Welcome to the Goochland, VA chapter of Silent Book Club! Each month we will meet up to chat about books, silently read for 30-45 minutes, and enjoy some coffee or drinks while we are together. Anyone, and everyone, is welcome. It is a perfect way to socialize, but read at the same time!  This is a no pressure/no rules book club. Come when you want, leave when you want, and read whatever you want. Come join us any time!

The Silent Book Club is a casual, judgment-free space for book lovers to escape into the world of reading. We meet for an hour of quiet, uninterrupted reading, each person bringing their own book of choice. It's a chance to disconnect from the outside world, delve into a good story, and enjoy the company of others who share the love of books. After the reading session, we offer a chance to socialize and share book recommendations, but participation is entirely optional. Come as you are, with your favorite book in hand, and enjoy the peace and quiet of a shared reading experience.

Do you love to read but can’t iron out the time or pull yourself from distractions? Want to get out of the house and be NEAR people but not BOTHERED BY people? People adjacent, if you will?

Join us at Witch’s Brew Café where you can enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment to simply… read. Bring your own reading materials, there are no assigned books at this book club.

This is a FREE event with food & drinks available for purchase from our limited menu!

THE SCHEDULE
7:00 pm : Doors open.
7:00-7:15 pm : Order food/drinks, chat, get comfortable.
7:15-8:30 pm : Quiet reading time.
8:30-9:00 pm : Time to quietly chat or continue reading, entirely up to you!
