Meet people, read books. At the Williamsburg, VA Silent Book Club, we will get together once a month at various venues around the 'burg. Here's how I'd describe the Silent Book Club:

The Silent Book Club is a casual, judgment-free space for book lovers to escape into the world of reading. We meet for an hour of quiet, uninterrupted reading, each person bringing their own book of choice. It's a chance to disconnect from the outside world, delve into a good story, and enjoy the company of others who share the love of books. After the reading session, we offer a chance to socialize and share book recommendations, but participation is entirely optional. Come as you are, with your favorite book in hand, and enjoy the peace and quiet of a shared reading experience.
