Then join us at Bearwood Silent Book Club! You are invited to join us once a month to sit and read over a cup of tea with friends.

The event will start with 30 minutes of chatting over tea and biscuits (BYOBiscuits!) before we settle for an hour or so of silent reading The night will round off with another half an hour or so of conversation before departure. Find our upcoming meetings and more information here!

We also promote sustainability by encouraging book swaps—bring a book you’ve finished, and you might just find your next read! Welcome to the Maidenhead Silent Book Club!

Come join us for a relaxing evening of reading in Maidenhead.

At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. This is a free event, where friends or strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading to yourselves. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not!

There is absolutely no pressure to talk to anyone or socialise in any way. Just bring yourself and your book, and take time out from scrolling on your phone and unwind in the company of like-minded individuals It's the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

So mark your calendars and make some time for yourself at the Maidenhead Silent Book Club. We can't wait to see you there!

Bristol’s Silent Book Club is a great chance to chat and read with like-minded bookworms, and EVERYONE is welcome!

All you need to do is bring yourself and whatever book that you’re currently reading - all books are welcome, including e-readers and audiobooks (just make sure you bring headphones!)

During the in-person meets, there’s plenty of time to chat, or read quietly, exchange book recommendations, drink copious amounts of tea and coffee, eat delicious cake, and most of all, read!
