Our Midland, MI Silent Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month in Ashman plaza. We are open to the public and are always excited to meet new readers in our area!

The Parchment Community Library Silent Book Club is two book clubs in one! The Evening Silent Book Club meets on the 4th Mondays of each month at 5:30 pm. Come at 5:15 pm for optional socializing before reading begins. The Afternoon Silent Book Club meets on the 4th Wednesdays of each month at 1:30 pm. Come at 1:15 pm for optional socializing.

Bring your own book and read in companionable silence for 45 minutes. At the end, we’ll take 15 minutes to discuss what we’ve been reading. Discussion is optional – participate as much or as little as you’d like. Beverages and snacks will be provided.

This group is an opportunity for everyone to socialize without the pressure of having to do anything except read in a group setting.

We would love to hear an excerpt from a book you're currently reading or a take on something you found interesting. Discussion is totally optional!

The Munising Silent Book Club loves reading through our snowy winters so much that we're meeting twice every week, on Sunday and Tuesday afternoons from 2 - 4 pm. Generally we like to chat for about 15 minutes before settling in to read for an hour. We close out with conversation, usually about books.

The best part about the Munising Silent Book Club is the location. We get together at Falling Rock Cafe and Bookstore at 104 E Munising Ave, Munising, MI 49862. This is the perfect place to meet with friends, enjoy a hot beverage, and find a brand new book to read!

We are Farmington's first Silent Book Club.

At Farmington Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook.

Our events are free and support local businesses. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees engage in a low pressure, introvert friendly social hour.

Often with traditional book clubs, there's the scramble to finish the selected book, and the pressure to have something smart to say. Wouldn't it be great to have a book club where you could just enjoy books, friends, and drinks—without any homework?

Our Silent Book Club will be meeting at Adventure Ink in Milan, MI. Adventure Ink is a small town books, comics and gaming store that strives to build accepting and inclusive community around all things reading and gaming. We currently plan to meet every first Saturday from 10:00am - 12:00pm, but may adjust our meeting schedule and location depending on what works best for the group! We're excited to start this new adventure!

The Southfield Public Library chapter of Silent Book Club is hosted by two of our current interns! This is for our patrons who may want less structure and stress when it comes to a book club. We also want to foster a community of readers and meet new friends!

We will meet monthly on our second floor in front of the fireplace. There will be fifteen minutes of introductions and discussion, an hour of reading, and we will end with fifteen minutes to debrief and discuss what we read. Hope to see you soon!
