Have you ever wanted to join a book club, but couldn’t really commit to reading the book? Ever wanted to make like-minded new friends, but were worried about your social battery draining quickly?

If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, then Fayetteville Silent Book Club is the place for you! All you have to do is BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) to the announced meeting spot at the planned date and time, socialize as much or as little as you want to, and spend an hour reading quietly together! No expectations. No deadlines.

We all know that socializing enriches our lives and makes us happy, but we also know that it can be hard sometimes! Especially if you’re here on military orders, reorienting your life to a whole new community can be really challenging. Fayetteville Silent Book Club's goal is to build a supportive community of book lovers in our area, and also improve access to new releases so more military families can share in the joy and excitement that new books bring!
