If you’re one of those people who loves quiet, small, and intimate gatherings, the Hope Mills Silent Book Club is designed with you in mind.

Bring your own book—no need to commit to a book you didn’t choose—and spend an hour reading it at your own pace. Enjoy the quiet, and socialize as little or as much before and after. Build community with your neighbors in a way that is simple, fun, and comfortable for you all.

Join us for Silent Book Club! Bring your book/ebook/audiobook & drinks/snacks. Then settle in for an hour of reading with fellow book lovers. There's no assigned reading or discussion guides—that's the "silent" part of our book club—but we do like to share book recommendations and meet like-minded readers & look forward to great book-ish conversations post-reading time :) All readers are welcome!

Welcome to Silent Book Club @Oberlin Regional Library! Oberlin Regional is a Silent Book Club Chapter location. Like all Silent Book Clubs, there is no pre-arranged reading list.

Simply register, bring what you like to read, and join others for an hour of silent reading. There is an optional time afterwards to talk and share with others about what you've read.

Salisbury Silent Book Club seeks to create space to build community across our many differences. We seek to build awareness around the many issues related literacy. Our ultimate goal is to create a grassroots movement that will help raise literacy rates in the Salisbury-Rowan NC area.

Silent Book Club will be hosted at Wanderlust Books on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 6-8pm. Bring your own book or purchase one in the store and enjoy silent reading from 6:30-7:30pm.

The Bookshelf - New Bern welcomes you to New Bern’s Silent Book Club! All are welcome here to enjoy the company of other readers while supporting local businesses.

Our ~relaxed~ schedule of events is as follows: 7-7:30 - arrive, grab a mocktail or cocktail and get comfy! 7:30-8:30 - read! silently! or just keep chit-chatting! 8:30-end just keep hanging out, maybe listen to a community announcement, and finish your chapter and your beverage!
