You'll want to be in The Dog House once a month because at these special times this 'creative space for curious minds' becomes a haven for people like you who like to read but would like to be in the company of fellow humans also stuck into a good read.

This will be the first experience of this kind in the town. Just minutes from Reading Station and in a beautifully renovated Edwardian Grade II Listed building, The Dog House will be the perfect place for people to come together to be quiet, then chat after (if they wish).

We’re a new Silent Book Club based in Bridport in Dorset. We’re a gathering of likeminded individuals with a hankering for books and cocktails! We gather at DarkBear monthly to read, have a drink and have a chat.
