Book Castle SF is a small independent bookshop located at 443 Cortland Ave. in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. We welcome readers to join us for Silent Book Club on the last Wednesday of the month (excluding July, November, and December).

Bring your own book, or try out a book or two from the shelves. Meet and greet 5:30-6:15pm and silent reading 6:15 - 8pm. We recommend bringing a warm beverage from one of the nice cafes nearby and since we are in a small shop, we ask that pets stay home. We have comfy chairs, classical music, and a cute fire-place heater.

READ TOGETHER - San Francisco Public Library Richmond Branch Silent Book Club

Bring a book of your choice (fiction or non-fiction) for a period of silent reading. Then we will have an enjoyable discussion where everyone shares what they are reading with others.

"Read Together" will meet every other Wednesday.

San Franciscans - Join us for Silent Book Club (aka Introvert Happy Hour) online and in-person. There is no assigned reading. It’s BYOBook. Meet fellow readers and settle in with your drink of choice for an uninterrupted session of quiet reading among friends.

At the end of the session, you can swap book recommendations, socialize or just keep reading. No one will be shushed or shamed.
