There are no assigned books, no organized discussions, and no pressure—just bring your book and enjoy some quiet time with fellow readers. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, making it the perfect space to unwind, discover new books, and support local businesses.

Welcome to the Oceanside Silent Book Club! We will get together monthly in various locations around Oceanside, CA to read together and talk books.

This is a low pressure book club with no assigned reading! Just BYOB (bring your own book) and join us for some silent reading and some socialization!

Join us at Studio DDLA to meet with other death curious bookworms, savor an hour of silent reading, and enjoy time for reflection and connected conversations. Please bring your own death-related book for the evening, or sit with something new from our extensive library.
