Welcome to Silent Book Club Eugene. Come share comfortable camaraderie with other book enthusiasts. All people are welcome as well as all book types and formats.

Ours will be a traveling book club, exploring spaces in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Come ready to read for sure, socialize if you like, and support our local pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Join us for Silent Book Club in Milwaukie! Located in the new indie bookstore, Spoke and Word Books, its BYOB (Bring Your Own Book).

We will meet the second Monday of each month starting at 6pm and ending at 7:30pm. We will have our initial 30 minute meet-up under the pavilion to chat about what we are reading, then the next hour is yours to silently read and relax. Please bring a chair or blanket if you would like to sit under one of the many trees in the park. And if you are so inclined, a picnic basket would do just fine as well.

For parents, you are welcome as there is a playground nearby that provides an opportunity for your kids to play while you read and relax.

Looking for a book club without assigned reading or just an opportunity to read? Starting on August 20, 2024, join us at the Medford Library from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on the third Tuesday of the month. Feel free to bring your own book or check out a new favorite from the library to read from 5 pm to 6 pm. After the hour ends, feel free to leave or chat with other book lovers. All readers (fiction, kindle, graphic novel, manga, non-fiction, and audiobooks - with headphones) welcome.
