Introverts unite! Join fellow readers for Silent Book Club, a quiet and cozy gathering – where the joy of reading meets the bliss of silence! Bring your own book to read. No assigned readings, no pressure, just peaceful camaraderie surrounded by the magic of shared stories. Because sometimes the best stories are told in silence.

We’ll meet in our local Montague library to enjoy some snacks and read to our hearts’ content! It’s a small, cute space that can comfortably hold about 15 of us readers in various areas of the library.

The library will be closed to the public at the time of our book club, so the space will be all ours!

We are a small used & new bookstore in downtown Tracy, CA. As part of our efforts to reach our community we've begun hosting Silent Book Club once a month. We wanted to create a warm, welcoming event that that is open to everyone! We begin our meetings right after the store closes for the day & have everyone introduce themselves as well as the book they're currently reading. Then we spend uninterrupted hour reading together with soft classical music playing in the background.

Afterward we encourage our members to socialize or shop & we also offer a Silent Book Club exclusive tote for sale that is different every meeting! We love creating a book community & making new friends. Our next meetup is pinned on our Facebook and Instagram.
