We're a bimonthly meet-up of quiet readers in the Modesto, CA area creating a community of books and supporting local businesses. Our schedule is to regularly meet-up twice a month (once on a weekend morning and once on a weekday evening) with rotating locally-owned businesses and organizations as venues.
Enjoy the benefits of a book club without the assigned reading! The first half hour is socializing and enjoying food/drink followed by an hour block of quiet reading.
Our mission is two-fold:
1) build, promote, and participate in our local reading/book community
2) support and encourage patronage of locally-owned businesses
