Welcome to Paso Robles Silent Book Club. We plan to gather once a month at a local cozy spot where we’ll share book recommendations, read together quietly, and be in the company of fellow book lovers! We are welcoming of all types of readers from beginners to avid readers. We also welcome any form of book whether it is a kindle or hard copy. Bring your current read and come hangout with like minded people. We are excited to meet you!

High Desert Silent Book Club is an informal gathering of book lovers. We promote literacy for all! We understand that literacy empowers and liberates people. Beyond being a fundamental right to education, literacy enhances lives by broadening capabilities, which in turn reduces poverty, boosts participation in the labor market, and positively impacts health and sustainable development.

At Silent Book Club there's no assigned reading. We gather in parks, bars, cafés, bookstores, libraries, and online to read together in quiet camaraderie.

All readers are welcome—ebooks or audiobooks, poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction... it's BYOBook.

We are Wine About Books 📚 Silent Book Club. We will be meeting at Frangipani Estate Winery located in Temecula, California, in the heart of wine country. All book lovers are welcome to join us once a month. Depending on the weather we may read in our vineyard, our patio, or in the tasting room. So grab your glass of wine and relax.

Once a month we meet up at and support a locally owned restaurant. Each member, from the young adventurer engrossed in a fantasy novel to the elderly gentleman lost in a classic, finds solace and connection in this shared silence. It’s a sanctuary from the cacophony of daily life. The restaurant staff, well-acquainted with our ritual, move gracefully to ensure our needs are met with minimal disruption. As we read, a unique bond forms among us, unspoken yet profound. Occasionally, a glance or a gentle smile is exchanged, acknowledging the shared joy and peace. There is no required book or reading, everyone just brings whatever they are reading at the moment.
