Arrival & Mingling: 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Arrive, socialize, and grab a snack before we settle in for a peaceful hour of reading.

Silent Reading Hour: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Bring your current favorite book and read amongst friends in a cozy, distraction-free atmosphere.

Optional Mingling: 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm Stick around for some optional socializing, discuss your latest literary finds, or simply enjoy the company of fellow book lovers. The Details:

Location: The Sparkle Barn, Wallingford VT. Upstairs in the FABULOUS Bloom Room!
What to bring: Yourself, your favorite book, and a love of reading!
FREE but RSVP REQUIRED

Busy running around? No time to sit and read? Join us for 'Silent Book Club!' For the first half hour, we will visit, enjoy a snack, and talk about books. Then we will settle in to read for the next 45 minutes. Come join at any time!

Ladies of the Upper Valley SBC was formed as a way to foster female friendship in the rural Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. We're a new club and still getting on our feet, but the goal is to provide a safe, welcoming environment for book lovers while supporting our local businesses.

Wish you had more time to read? Looking for some book lovers to hang out with? Bring whatever book you are currently reading and join us in the Suzy Forlie Room to get cozy. Come on the third Tuesday of the month to meet new people and leave with new book recommendations! For Adults and Teens 16+

Typical Schedule:
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Get your drinks and snacks, grab a seat, socialize with other readers (or not), and share what you're reading.
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. | Silent Reading Hour
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. | Optional socializing (or keep reading!)

Hosted by Dover Free Library, the Dover chapter of the Silent Book Club will start meeting at Sawmill Bar and Table on the Third Tuesday of every month.

The Library will provide some light snacks - more food and drinks are available to purchase.
