Our group meets up at and is hosted by The Romance Era Bookshop. There is a large indoor event space attached to the bookshop that can hold up to 100 people (but max about 15 show up). There are different reading areas to choose from (couches, tables and floor mats for those who like to read laying down). We have plans to meet up at local places on Main Street downtown from time to time but for the mostly part we meet at the same place!

What is a Silent Book Club? Well, it's an introverts happy hour! Gather with fellow book lovers to share what you're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent reading. At the end of the hour, feel free to socialize—or not! All you need to bring is a book, all genres and formats are welcome (ebooks, comic books, textbooks, even audiobooks, just remember to bring headphones!), and find a cozy spot to read among others. The exact locations will be announced on our Facebook page. Join us once a month for quiet reading and socializing.

No deadlines, organized discussion, or assigned reading, just bring whatever book you're currently enjoying and hang out with your fellow bookworms! Continue reading
