Silent Book Club is happy hour for introverts. Bring a book, bring a friend, and order a drink. Then settle in for an hour or two of quiet reading with fellow book lovers.
There's no assigned reading or discussion guides—that's the "silent" part of our book club—but we do like to share book recommendations and meet like-minded readers. RSVP here!

Silent Book Clubs are happy hours for introverts. We are located in EaDo (East Downtown) Houston.
We meet at locally-owned coffee houses, cafes and bars the third Sunday of the month at 430 - 6ish. We say "Hi" to be polite. Then, we turn off our phones and read. There is no reading list, no moderator and no judgment on what people are reading. Find the next event and RSVP here!

Are you interested in joining a book club for women but want to choose your own book? Do you stay away from book clubs because you aren't interested in homework assignments, deadlines, or discussions? If you answered yes to either, or both of these questions, then our book club is for you.
At each of our book club meetups, we will meet at a restaurant in the Cedar Park area. You will socialize for the first thirty minutes, and, if you choose, share about the book you are reading, read silently for one hour, and then socialize for the last thirty minutes.
That's it! No pressure whatsoever. Find our next event here.Continue reading
