We have had the pleasure of serving this community of readers for so long and understand that our shared love of books is what brings us together. Welcome to our local chapter of Silent Book Club, where there are no assigned readings, no pressure to finish a book on time, and BYOB (Bring Your Own Book). It’s The Introvert’s Happy Hour!

This group is for those who just want to relax and read along with other bookish people. While silence is the main game during the allotted hour, for those so inclined, there will be optional time to share what you are reading, and discuss literary things or just to get to know one another.

With Silent Book Club, there is no pressure because there is no assigned book. Just show up with whatever book you’re currently reading, choose a comfy spot and settle in for an hour of silent reading among like-minded people. Afterward, connect with fellow book lovers and enjoy some casual conversation about books!

Light snacks and refreshments are provided but feel free to bring your own. We are a dog friendly space. Friendly pups are welcome!

Hot Plate Brewing is located at 1 School Street, Pittsfield, MA (right next to the Police Station). Beer, wine, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase, and patrons are encouraged to bring their own food and snacks!
