Welcome to Silent Book Club Falmouth! Come join us for a laid back book club experience where you get to choose what and how you read! Socialize with other bookworms, eat and drink if you wish, and enjoy an hour of reading time! At the end of the night you can tell others abut your book, find book recommendations and the organizers will have special offerings like Book Giveaways and trivia depending on the meeting.

Welcome to our local chapter of Silent Book Club, where there are no assigned readings, no pressure to finish a book on time, and BYOB (Bring Your Own Book). It’s The Introvert’s Happy Hour!

This group is for those who just want to relax and read along with other bookish people. While silence is the main game during the allotted hour, for those so inclined, there will be optional time to share what you are reading, and discuss literary things or just to get to know one another. Refreshments will be provided and ambient music will be played to keep out any distracting noises.

Our Silent Book Club is open to all adults who are interested in meeting up with other book and library enthusiasts. It is a quiet time to put your phone away and unplug from everything. Enjoy a coffee or tea and a cozy space to relax and read. Afterwords, we can chat about what we are reading and give book recommendations. The intention is to create a quiet and mindful space for reading and hitting pause by turning pages.

Whether you’re an avid reader or just getting started, our club offers a welcoming space for everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, immerse yourself in a good story, and take a break from the fast pace of daily life.

Our goal is to build a community where people feel comfortable connecting through a shared love of reading. There’s no pressure to talk or participate in discussions—just a chance to slow down and enjoy a few peaceful hours. Whether you come to discover new books or to carve out some personal time, we’re here to help you make reading a part of your routine in a supportive and relaxing environment.

Boujee Bookstore is a woman owned, all pink, indie bookstore located in Norwood, MA. We host a variety of events in our store including book swaps, author signings, influencer events, and more. We have 3-4 regular book clubs a month featuring different new releases. We also have 1 book club a month with a local author who attends. We’ve recently added a Silent Book Club that has been very popular.

From 6:00-8:00pm we have silent reading of the book of your choice. From 8:00-9:00pm we have some spoiler free discussion on what you just read and encourage guests to give a book recommendation to the group. The store is also open for late night shopping and many readers stay until 10:00pm to hang out after book club is over. Cheese pizza is included and the book club is BYOB.

Please note, fall hours have started. Open social time (aka optional grab your coffee, snack, talk to a friend you brought or met) 7:00-7:30pm.. Silent Reading book club time 7:30-8:30pm. Reading locations in the Reading Room, Cafe, & Newspaper corner.

Do you miss silent reading time, like when we were kids? Silent Book Club is exactly that- a traditional-styled book club that’s low-pressure, social-optional, and no homework. You read what you want. It’s a book club for those with an already busy calendar or already full TBR that just need planned time to sit & read!

There’s no assigned book. You can bring something you’re already in the middle of, or grab something from the shelves that you’ve been meaning time get to. Like it enough to check it out? Just bring your library card, but you don’t need a card to read while you’re here.
