Silent Book Club Metropolitan Jacksonville is dedicated to creating a welcoming, flexible community by celebrating small venues and offering a varied, inclusive meeting schedule. We’re excited to highlight the many wonderful small businesses and cozy spaces throughout Jacksonville and to offer gatherings during both weekdays and weekends. Our goal is to foster a connected, vibrant community where everyone feels at home.

Do you enjoy reading books but don't want to join a book club because you don't want the assigned reading commitment? Are you nestled between St. Augustine and Jacksonville and both are too far to drive? If you can relate, then the Silent Book Club St. Johns County Chapter is for you!

With our book club, you can read any book you want! That's right, it's bring your own book. Just think about those silent reading days in school, but now you live for the days when you can return to reading.

We'll meet at a local restaurant and you order your drinks, food, and socialize for the first thirty minutes.

We read silently for one hour.

We socialize for the last thirty minutes.

We meet several times a month, supporting locally owned businesses around town. You can find us in bars, breweries, bookstores, coffee shops, parks, and the public library.
