We meet at DAI's International Library once a month, on the first Thursday of each month between 5:30 and 7/7:30 pm. After an hour of reading people are welcome to stay on to chat. Drinks and food can be brought or purchased.

Der Silent Book Club kommt nach Hannover – und wir haben eine ganz besondere Location für euch: Die Stadtbibliothek Hannover! Welche Kulisse könnte sich besser eignen? Einmal monatlich treffen wir uns dort und suchen uns ein schönes Plätzchen zwischen den Regalen, um in unsere aktuelle Lektüre einzutauchen.

Das Beste daran? Es gibt keine Verpflichtung, ein bestimmtes Buch zu lesen, und keine Diskussionen über Handlung oder Interpretation. Jeder liest, was er möchte, und genießt dabei die Gesellschaft anderer Bücherliebhaber*innen. Zusammen mit der Stadtbibliothek planen wir gerade die ersten Termine. Bring whatever you are reading and join us, order some drinks/food and read! No assigned readings, no book discussions. Just read in company and enjoy. As simple as that.

Bring a book, bring a friend. Then read, drink/eat, repeat. 😊

Our meetup is going to be like this:

3:00-3:30 pm - People arrive, order drinks/food, share what they're reading
3:30-5:00 pm - Quiet reading
5:00-6:00 pm – Socializing
