Silent Book Club Metropolitan Jacksonville is dedicated to creating a welcoming, flexible community by celebrating small venues and offering a varied, inclusive meeting schedule. Welcome to Bartow's Silent Book Club at Unfiltered Bartow!

All ages and formats are welcome! No assigned books, no pressure - just a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy reading and good company.

We will continue to meet every last Saturday of the month, same place and time frame.

📅 Itinerary:
First 15 minutes - Arrive, settle in, order a drink and treat, head upstairs, and grab a seat.
Next hour - Dive into your current book for a peaceful 1 hr of reading.
Last 15 minutes- Optional intros and Book Discussion with a prompt end at the end of the hour on the dot.

Welcome to SBC Pressed Books & Coffee in Lakeland, FL! We are a local bookstore coffee shop, so our goal is to provide a cozy, study hall vibe for introvert readers. Our group will consist of anyone who would like to join, and already has loose commitments from those who attend our other book club meetings monthly. Do you enjoy reading books but don't want to join a book club because you don't want the assigned reading commitment? Are you nestled between St. Augustine and Jacksonville and both are too far to drive? If you can relate, then the Silent Book Club St. Johns County Chapter is for you!

With our book club, you can read any book you want! That's right, it's bring your own book. Just think about those silent reading days in school, but now you live for the days when you can return to reading.

We'll meet at a local restaurant and you order your drinks, food, and socialize for the first thirty minutes.

We read silently for one hour.

We socialize for the last thirty minutes.

Introverts unite! SBC St. Lucie County and The St. Lucie County Library system invites you to join us for some quiet communal reading time followed by casual socializing and sharing. Bring any book you'd like, or grab one here and enjoy reading in companionable silence.

Love to read but don't want the pressure of a structured book club? Or maybe life is hectic, and you just want an hour for yourself to read. Silent Book Club is perfect for you! At our Silent Book Club, we'll meet at various locations (see Facebook page) to meet new/old friends, grab a drink/snack and then read together, silently, for an hour. Afterwards, enjoy some more social time, share book suggestions or head home.

All adult readers are welcome—eBooks or audiobooks, poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction. This is BYOB (bring your own book). Everyone reads what they want and there are no discussion questions!
