Often with traditional book clubs there's the scramble to finish the assigned book, and the pressure to have something smart to say. Wouldn't it be great to have a book club where you could just enjoy books, friends, and maybe some coffee—without any homework? At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. You can come in and take some time to read, especially if it's hard to fit it in during the day at work or at home given how busy we all are. We will also have time to talk about what each other's reading, and in the process, maybe learn about a new book to try!
