Silent Book Club of Plainfield is a diverse group of readers who come together each month to patronize a different local business and enjoy an hour of silent reading. If you've ever wanted to join a book club but prefer to pick your own reading material, then SBC of Plainfield is for you! We hope to see you at a meetup very soon!

Join us for our Silent Book Club events the last Monday of each month at Milkshake and Cookies in Plainfield, Illinois (Next to Beggars Pizza).

What a typical gathering looks like:
6:00-6:30pm - People arrive, order drinks/food, share what they're reading
6:30-7:30pm - Quiet reading hour
7:30-8:00pm - Optional socializing, just keep reading, leave and go on about your evening, or stay longer if you wish

There's no pressure with this book club. Bring whatever book you're currently reading and enjoy! These gatherings will give you an opportunity to learn about different books and mingle with new people. If you're not into that and would rather come and read, this is the club for you! Continue reading
