As a local public library our mission is to provide educational and cultural opportunities for our community. Our library already hosts various events and programs including a robust and exciting traditional book club. We want to welcome all types of readers here and cultivate a like-minded community around literacy and books.
The library was founded at our current location in 1978 after a local advocate, Dasa Harris, bequeathed her family home to the Village of Otego for use as a library. The historical Harris House is used as meeting and event space that is cozy and inviting and we hope you will join us in some quiet, communal reading there. Continue reading
