Golden Bee Bookshop is a warm and welcoming space at the heart of Liverpool, NY. While we offer many book clubs that involve great discussions as the focus of our meetings, we hope to offer a cozy and quiet setting for enjoying an hour or two reading outside of your usual spaces. Something so many of us search for during the stir-crazy winter months in particular!

All SBC events will be after-hours, giving private access to the shop, which will ensure quiet and comfort while you read beneath the glow of our strand lights.

A book club, where you can read silently about death, mortality, and grief. We meet one Sunday per month, in various locations posted on the Instagram and Facebook pages. Join us!

Oftentimes we're required to "be on" for things we need to do, that we don't have the energy to do the things we want to do.

The Beacon Silent Book Club is a place to gather with fellow lovers of reading without the need to "be on". We're a community where everyone is welcomed. It's a place to gather, chat for a bit, and then spend about an hour in comfortable silence reading your book of choice in the company of others who love to read.

It's a great way to be in company of others when your social battery is low. There are no assigned books and no homework! You can read physical books, e-books, even the newspaper or magazines!

Join fellow book lovers for introvert happy hour at the charming and cozy Poestenkill Library! We are a small rural library, serving a population of just over 4,000.

We’re eager to create space for readers of all kind, both avid and casual, so we are launching a Syracuse chapter of Silent Book Club to be held at Peaks Coffee Company.

The first half hour will be for socializing, finding a seat and grabbing a coffee or tea. We’ll then have and hour of silent reading, followed by another half hour of socializing (which is totally optional, by the way).

Our goal is to be the most flexible book club you’ve been to! Come late, leave early, talk about what you’re reading, don’t talk to anyone— it’s totally up to you.
