Our Silent Book Club in Cavan takes place once every month, at 3 PM on a Friday in the Coffee Dock at Johnston Central Library, Farnham Street, Cavan. Readers aged 15+ are very welcome to join us. At 3pm, members meet up and enjoy tea/coffee and something to go with it if they fancy! At about 3.15pm we start reading in companionable silence. At approx 3.45pm, we start to wind up the reading and members can either leave when they finish their reading or stay on to chat if they’d like to do that. If some members decide that they want to read the same book, we can facilitate this by obtaining copies of the chosen book but there is no obligation on any member to read any particular book.

No need to bring anything other than a book! In fact you don't even need to bring a book - just bring yourself and we'll help you to find a book that you should enjoy.
