Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, Africa
The Abidjan Silent Book Club is one of the first 10 Silent Book Clubs on the African continent. Starting in October, reading enthusiasts meet up at the Goethe-Institut for this new library activity.
What makes it special? At the SBC, there is no compulsory reading. Everyone can bring their own book or borrow one from the Goethe-Institut's vast library. Thrillers, comics, romance novels, lyrical works, horror or fantasy - the language doesn't matter. Whether it's a hardback, an e-book or even an audio book. Everyone can read what they want.
We're looking forward to meeting you. Visit Goethe for more details. Continue reading
