For the lovers of sun, sand, and books comes Silent Book Club - Inglewood. Nestled between Santa Monica and Long Beach, this beautiful stretch of beach offers many cozy outdoor and indoor places to gather up and read. Grab your book, a nice cold beverage and nestle underneath the palm trees for an hour of fun reading!

Welcome! We meet every Thursday starting at 6:45! We are located at Woodbridge in Irvine during the warmer months and Woodbury in Irvine during the cold months.

Welcome to the Silent Book Club - Berkeley Chapter. We meet monthly at the Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch Library. Bring your own book (or check one out), sip a mocktail (while supplies last), and meet fellow readers.

We'll read quietly for an hour, then meet to discuss what we are reading (optional). Both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) hangout space.

Silent book club - North County and Escondido

No assigned readings, no pressure to finish a book on time or read a book you have no time or inclination to read anyway.

This group is for those who just want to relax and read in the company of other bookish folk. While silence is the main game during the allotted hour, for those so inclined to do so there will be time made to share what you are reading, and discuss all things literary or just get to know one another.

Other activities added to a meet may include a book swap or other literary events. Please feel free to recommend a favorite park, coffee shop, or other favorite reading spot! 

Welcome to the Silent Book Club - Monterey Peninsula Chapter. We meet monthly at the Marina Public Library. Bring your own book (BYOB), meet fellow readers, and then we'll read silently for an hour.

Afterward, you're welcome to discuss what you read and find recommendations for books! All are welcome!
