For people who just want to read in the presence of others. One hour of silent reading, and one hour of optional chatting with other readers. Bring whatever you're currently reading, or support a local volunteer-run bookstore by perusing the collections at our host venue, Redbud Books. Refreshments provided and donations welcome.

Are you looking for a book club without assigned reading? Do you just need to spend a peaceful hour with a good book? The Silent Book Club offers this!

Bring a book with you or find a new favorite in the stacks. Then enjoy reading from 6-7pm in the calm, discussion-free Quiet Reading Room. After the hour of reading ends, you have the option to socialize with other readers in the library's Conference Room until 7:30pm.

All readers are welcome. Those enjoying audiobooks should plan to use headphones. No registration is required.
