Oftentimes we're required to "be on" for things we need to do, that we don't have the energy to do the things we want to do.

The Beacon Silent Book Club is a place to gather with fellow lovers of reading without the need to "be on". We're a community where everyone is welcomed. It's a place to gather, chat for a bit, and then spend about an hour in comfortable silence reading your book of choice in the company of others who love to read.

It's a great way to be in company of others when your social battery is low. There are no assigned books and no homework! You can read physical books, e-books, even the newspaper or magazines!
