Hello, Traverse City book lovers! SBC isn’t your average book club. There are no assigned readings or discussion guides. You bring a book, any book, and we read quietly, companionably, for an hour.
Silent Book Club Traverse City Chapter meets monthly on a Thursday at various locations in the Traverse City area. Each gathering starts with brief introductions and announcements. Then, we chill out in each other’s company, reading quietly. After an hour of reading, we officially adjourn. Some of us continue to read, some socialize/have lunch together, and others call it a day.
