Our Silent Book Club is open to anyone looking for a place to read in a peaceful, welcoming environment, free of everyday life interruptions. We meet on the first Sunday of every month. The first 15 minutes are used to casually connect with other readers, the next hour and a half will be dedicated to silently reading the book of your choice, and the last 15 minutes will be reserved for those who would like to briefly discuss what they read. Put on your comfy lounge clothes, grab your book, and come join us!

Gather and connect with likeminded friends and strangers at Unruly Cactus Books & Coffee and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. No assigned readings. No pressure to discuss. Just show up with whatever you'd like to read. Before and after the designated reading time, attendees can chat about what they are reading or anything else—or not!

Silent Book Club creates a comfortable shared space and the time to enjoy the love of reading. Monthly on the last Friday, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Reading hour starts at 6:30.

Welcome to the Palestine, TX chapter of Silent Book Club! Here we welcome readers of all ages and all kinds: physical books, e-books, magazines, comics, audio, etc. There is no assigned reading in our group and no pressure to finish a book within a certain time frame.

We meet once a month in downtown Palestine. While reading is the main goal during our meeting, there will be optional time to share what you're reading, discuss all things bookish, or just get to know one another.

A no-pressure gathering of bookworms, introverts, neighbors, and friends hosted in a cozy community library. Bring a book or check one out from our shelves! We'll share snacks, stories, and each others' company. Nestle up on the couches amongst the bookshelves or enjoy reading outdoors on our patio. Either way, you'll be amongst friends.

This meeting takes place at Fairmount Community Library: 1310 West Allen Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, 76110. Fairmount Community Library is a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit library nestled in the Historic Fairmount Neighborhood. Our vision is to be more than just books, to continue to expand into a micro community center where all can come to learn, discover, create, and connect.
