Bring your book and enjoy reading in silence, together.

We will meet in various locations throughout our city and province. Follow us to stay updated on each event’s location!

We’ll start with about 10 minutes of socializing.
Then, we’ll spend 50 minutes reading.
Finally, for another 20 minutes, those who wish can share thoughts and book recommendations.

By the end, you will have experienced something both intimate and collective, a peaceful break from the rush of daily life.

In occasione del giorno dedicato all’amore inizia ufficialmente il Silent Book Club, un’occasione imperdibile per gli amanti della lettura che hanno sempre troppi impegni per leggere. Abbandonate l’agenda e lasciatevi coccolare dalle pagine del vostro libro preferito (o venite a sceglierne uno tra le nostre proposte a tema). Immergetevi in 𝐮𝐧’𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐝𝐢 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐚 in compagnia di un amore o di un amico o semplicemente della persona che amate di più: voi stessi.
Al termine del momento di lettura chi ne avrà piacere potrà condividere con gli altri sensazioni, citazioni, riflessioni.

Unisciti a noi per una piacevole serata di lettura a Be Yoga Studio Olistico! Nessuna pressione, nessun libro assegnato, porta semplicemente quello che stai leggendo al momento. Creiamo insieme un momento speciale trovando tempo da dedicare a quel libro che non riusciamo mai a leggere o semplicemente uno spazio per leggere in compagnia.

Il Silent Book Club nasce negli Stati Uniti con l'idea che condividere la lettura con gli amici è divertente. Per partecipare basta comprare un libro oppure prendere da bere (un tè, una tisana, o un calice di vino). Si può leggere tutti lo stesso libro oppure ognuno quello che preferisce. Di volta in volta chiedete ai librai per suggerimenti e consigli! 

Il Silent book club di Vicenza vuole offrire un’occasione in più per far incontrare le persone - seppure in via individuale e silenziosa - e per avvicinarle al libro e alla lettura, in modo condiviso. Aderiscono le librerie della città e il gruppo di lettura rivolto ai giovani tra i 20 e 30 anni (Lettori parlanti). Il SBC fa capo alla Biblioteca civica Bertoliana di Vicenza.

Bring along your current read or pick one up when you arrive, and enjoy an hour of peaceful reading in the company of fellow enthusiasts. No discussions or critiques—just a chance to relax and lose yourself in a good book. After our silent reading session, you’re welcome to stay and chat about your experience, if you wish. We gather in some of Trieste's most charming spots, from cozy cafés to tranquil parks, to share the simple joy of reading together.

We started a Silent Book Club in Chiavari because we wanted to share the love for reading. I told the news to a couple of colleagues, I’m a teacher, and everybody was so enthusiastic. So joining us, you could find a lot a teachers and a lot of people from Liguria and North Italy having fun in a nice cafè, or on the beach or in a park.
