We are Wine About Books 📚 Silent Book Club. We will be meeting at Frangipani Estate Winery located in Temecula, California, in the heart of wine country. All book lovers are welcome to join us once a month. Depending on the weather we may read in our vineyard, our patio, or in the tasting room. So grab your glass of wine and relax.

Once a month we meet up at and support a locally owned restaurant. Each member, from the young adventurer engrossed in a fantasy novel to the elderly gentleman lost in a classic, finds solace and connection in this shared silence. It’s a sanctuary from the cacophony of daily life. The restaurant staff, well-acquainted with our ritual, move gracefully to ensure our needs are met with minimal disruption. As we read, a unique bond forms among us, unspoken yet profound. Occasionally, a glance or a gentle smile is exchanged, acknowledging the shared joy and peace. There is no required book or reading, everyone just brings whatever they are reading at the moment.

Riverside now has its very own Silent Book Club. Starting in June of 2024 grab whatever literature you have been wanting to spend some time on but have been too busy to do so and join us for some reading and optional socializing.

You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you would like. It is an open space to build community around literature. See you soon...happy reading!

Join our Daly City Silent Book Club! Choose your own book and come read quietly alongside others at our shop. We’ll get settled and do intros, read silently for an hour, then chat for a bit (if you like). We will have some snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own as well.
Don’t know what to read? Come early and we can give recommendations! You can also browse our lending library, or choose a free book provided by our co-host from Skyline Blue Book Box.
