Ballarat Silent Book Club: A regal location to get lost in the pages of your current book, adding a fortnightly moment of delight to the current chapter of your life. Join like-minded bookworms and enable us all to become characters in each others’ stories. Once a month, we meet in a local park, library, coffee shop, or pub to connect and socialise, and read in a quiet space. Unlike traditional book clubs, we don't have a set reading list - you can read whatever you'd like!

Silent Book Club Cooks Hill meets at St. John's Anglican Church on the first Saturday of the month. You can expect to hang out with a group of people who enjoy relaxing and reading in contemplative silence. Bring your current read and anything that you need to get comfortable! Our meetings start off with quick introductions and go straight into reading time. At the end, we like to share any insights that we have gained from our books.

Our regular attendees value this consecrated reading time as well as the community of silent readers who make up our membership!
