SBC on Good Morning America!

Good Morning America investigated the growing trend of silent reading parties with a visit to the Hotel Sorrento, where Christopher Frizzelle hosted the first silent reading party in 2009 with live piano music and quiet reading. 

When we launched Silent Book Club, our goal was to make this experience accessible to everyone, from small town cafés to international cities to indie bookstore owners and local libraries.

It's incredible to see how many other people around the world recognize the value of reading together in community. We're so honored and proud to lead this global movement.
