Chapter spotlight: SBC Sicklerville, New Jersey

This heartwarming story was shared by Maria Shevlin, the organizer of SBC Sicklerville. Her chapter of avid readers and community supporters recently held their largest meetup yet, with 23 members gathering at The Brewed Awakening Cafe in Pitman, NJ, to read together.

But their impact extended far beyond the walls of the cafe. Inspired by a sock donation drive organized by the Gloucester Township Police Department for a local homeless outreach program, the Sicklerville chapter members donated more than 100 pairs of socks! This incredible act of generosity demonstrates the power of community and Silent Book Club's commitment to making a difference.
