De Stille Boekenclub is een groep leesliefhebbers die het leuk vinden om hun liefde voor lezen met elkaar te delen. We lezen niet allemaal hetzelfde boek zoals in een klassieke boekenclub, maar je kiest zelf wat je wil lezen. We starten de bijeenkomst met een voorstelrondje. Iedereen vertelt kort iets over zichzelf en over het boek dat je gaat lezen. Vervolgens gaan we een uurtje lezen en hierna vertel je kort wat je tot nu toe van het boek vond.

We are a Silent Book Club organized through the Bibliotheek Midden-Brabant, a group of libraries in the center-south of the Netherlands. Our discussions are all in Dutch, unlike other book clubs even within the Netherlands, to provide an option for people who might not be as proficient in English or who otherwise prefer conversing in Dutch. We meet on Thursday evenings twice a month, once online and once in the LocHal in Tilburg.
