With no assigned book or required group discussion, the Silent Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework and social pressure.

We meet once monthly to read silently as a group, with some time for optional socializing just before and after our reading time.

This is a no-pressure book club- you can read whatever interests you and then share your thoughts with other readers. We’ll have time for introductions, ordering your coffee and food, and then dive into some quiet reading time.

This is the Sudie TAG Silent Book Club.

We are a group of middle school teachers and students who gather to read together and share in the joy that reading together, silently brings!

Silent Book Club is happy hour for introverts. Bring a book, bring a friend, and order a drink. Then settle in for an hour or two of quiet reading with fellow book lovers.

There's no assigned reading or discussion guides—that's the "silent" part of our book club—but we do like to share book recommendations and meet like-minded readers. RSVP here!

We are a subset of the main Houston group! We found that it wasn't always feasible for us to go into downtown Houston for meet ups, so here we are!
