Welcome to Humanities North Dakota’s Silent Book Club! These clubs are popping up around the country and it’s easy to see why—a social event with limited socializing and a book club without pressure!

Here’s how it goes:
📚 No assigned reading, just bring whatever book you’d like
☕ Grab a drink!
🛋️ Take a seat next to fellow bookworms
📖 Read for 45 uninterrupted minutes
💬 Want to share about your book afterwards? Great! Want to leave quietly? Also great!

Looking to find a quiet space to connect with fellow book lovers? The Bowman Regional Silent Book Club might be what you’re looking for. This meetup at the Bowman Regional Public Library offers the perfect opportunity to share your passion for reading in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

There are no assigned readings for this event; simply bring along your current book and enjoy an hour of silent reading with others. The event kicks off with a half hour of light refreshments to help you settle in.

Following this, you'll have an hour dedicated to silent reading. Finally, the last half hour is flexible—continue reading, explore the library’s offerings, socialize with other attendees, or check out some handpicked recommendations from the library staff.
